A beautiful fall day on the perfectly manicured grounds set the stage for a truly spectacular wedding at Radnor Valley Country Club for Sean and Ian. After years together, first meeting through collegiate diving programs, their highly anticipated wedding day finally arrived – and it was simply overflowing with joy. Friends and family traveled from across the country (and around the globe!) just to celebrate with them. Everyone dreams that their wedding day will be filled with high energy and joy, surrounded by loved ones, but Sean and Ian truly accomplished this vision with flying colors.
DETAILS & FLAT LAY

Sean and Ian’s gold wedding bands and engagement bands matched the season perfectly, along with Ian’s watch and custom cufflinks.
GETTING READY
With two separate suites, Radnor Valley had ample room for both sides of the wedding party to get ready. Throughout the morning, with music playing and matching robes, Sean and her bridesmaids were utterly pampered by House of Clarity, who crushed their hair & makeup. Sean’s dress from Ever After Bridal in West Chester, Pennsylvania was classic, chic, and interesting.

FIRST LOOK: FATHER OF THE BRIDE
Once everyone was ready, Sean and her dad prepared for their own first look – which, honestly, was one of the most beautiful and emotional father-daughter first looks I’ve ever seen.

FIRST LOOK & PRIVATE VOWS
From there, it was finally time for Sean and Ian’s much anticipated first look! Emotions overflowed into their first look, so overwhelmingly full of joy and relief and love. We gave them plenty of space and time to exchange their vows privately, just the two of them.

COUPLES PORTRAITS & SOLO PORTRAITS
After that, we took our time with portraits, starting with just the two of them. LeRoy Flowers supplied all of the floral pieces, which stunned in such a sharp black-and-white color scheme.

WEDDING PARTY AND FAMILY PORTRAITS
Eventually, we brought their wedding party and families into the mix, wrapping up with plenty of time to prepare for the ceremony. Family and friends traveled from across the country, with some of their wedding party even flying in from Asia (which is wildly impressive!). The wedding party was striking in all black, and the bridesmaids were able to choose the style of their dresses (which I loved!)
We completed all of their group and family photos prior to their ceremony, meaning that Sean and Ian had time and freedom to be present throughout their entire wedding.

WEDDING CEREMONY
With family and group photos wrapped up, Sean and Ian tucked away with their family and wedding party as guests arrived at Radnor Valley Country Club. Their ceremony took place underneath a beautiful old-growth tree in the shade of the clubhouse. With tears shed and laughter bubbling over, Sean and Ian said “I do” in front of all of their loved ones, married by one of Sean’s family pastors.

COCKTAIL HOUR AND GOLDEN HOUR
Cocktail hour meant time to party! Hydrated by lemon drops galore, Sean and Ian greeted their guests and got to enjoy their entire cocktail hour. Toward the end of cocktail hour, we snuck away from the building for golden hour couples’ portraits that still fill my heart with joy.

WEDDING RECEPTION
Sean and Ian entered their reception to thunderous applause (largely by former classmates and teammates). The sharp white wedding cake from Bredenbeck’s was on full display, complete with beautiful pearl detailing.
With dances and toasts from their fathers and siblings, guests enjoyed their dinner. More tears were shed as the father of the groom honored Ian’s late mother during his speech with a white rose. Ian’s brother also gave a toast, as the best man, and his sister stood in for a beautiful first dance with Ian. Sean’s older sister gave a speech, as well as their father. Not a soul made it through these speeches with dry eyes.
Sean made it clear when she was ready to break open the dance floor with a definitive (first) shotgun of a Truly seltzer (which was very brave of her). This turned into one of the most packed dance floors I’ve ever witnessed – fueled by Sean and Ian’s incredible dance moves. Sean did the worm AND a split without ever changing out of her wedding dress. DJ Alex Rossi from BVT Live kept the dance floor alive all night, while Selfie Shots Photobooth made sure every memory was captured.

Sean and Ian, I had so much fun photographing your wedding day. Thank you so much for trusting me to bear witness to such a beautiful celebration!
