I'm Anna

Paige and Travis’s Lambertville, New Jersey wedding day was one for the books. Taking place at the iconic Lambertville Station, they somehow managed to have one of the most mild and gorgeous December days I’ve ever experienced. Lambertville is a town bursting with art and character as a quintessentially beautiful town along the Delaware River.

the Love Story

Paige and Travis live in Washington D.C. now, but their first date was in New Hope (somewhat by accident). Plans with their mutual coworkers fell through last minute and they were the only two who could still make it. After several years together and planning their wedding from D.C., they planned their wedding at the place where it all began.

Getting Ready

Lambertville Station’s bridal suite is bursting with light through large windows that wrap around the entire suite. On this particular December day, with the sun setting so early, all of our light in the early afternoon was simply incredible. Paige got ready with the help of her mother and mother-in-law, electing not to have a formal wedding party. While I love a wedding party, I also love when couples know exactly what will bring them the most peace throughout their celebration. Sometimes, that’s keeping it simple and not choosing between friends.

First Look and Portraits

With the sun setting so early in December, it’s sometimes hard to anticipate exactly what the light will give us. Fortunately, this mild December day offered beautiful golden light with the sun low and strong all afternoon.

Paige & Travis’s first look was beautiful and private, with the sun setting over the Delaware River behind them. After, we walked out to the bridge to chase the light across the river – and we were not disappointed!

Wedding Ceremony

Travis and his family are Jewish, and they incorporated aspects of Jewish tradition throughout their wedding day. This included breaking a glass at the end of their ceremony, a blessing said over challah bread prior to dinner being served, as well as the joyful hora dance to open the reception.

Wedding Reception

Afterward, the party really started. A beautiful cocktail hour of passed hors d’eurves preceded an incredible celebration that went long into the night. Paige’s fabulous dress change, a (beautifully) failed cake cutting, and an overflowing amount of joy were the true exclamation point on the night.

Congratulations, Paige & Travis, on such a joyous day! Thank you so immensely for all your trust through your entire process and for letting me be a part of your celebration.
